Everything New in Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle

I’ve been thinking about trying out Elder Scrolls Online for quite awhile and this makes me want to even more now. If only the download wasn’t over 100GBs on my PS4 hard drive.

Activision Blizzard shareholders vote in favor of harassment report, despite board’s objections | PC Gamer

The most hilarious statement in this article: “…that doesn’t necessarily mean the report will happen: The vote is non-binding, meaning that it’s more of an advisory thing than an obligation. The board of directors, of course, said it will think about it.”

Final Fantasy 16 Producer Confirms It Won’t Be Open World – IGN

“We’ve found in our extensive user research that many of the younger generation of gamers have never played a Final Fantasy or don’t have any interest in the series. To create a game that might excite and resonate not only with our core fans, but also with that new generation, we played a lot of games ourselves, and so yes, in [Final Fantasy 16] you’ll find inspiration from recent triple-A open world RPGs,”

I wish companies would stop caring so much about raw data when making decisions regarding creative works. I understand that financially it makes perfect sense, however the current obsession media companies have with charts and data seems to lead to them refusing to take chances or actually using their guts.

  1. Ken Van Conover – As a small two year old boy, my father sat me down one day in front of a PlayStation 1 to keep me occupied while he carried out some chores. It is here where I was first exposed to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, as well as Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Little did my father know that his action that day would lead me to a life-long love of videos games. Here, I plan on writing detailed reviews for any and all games, ranging from the NES and Sega Master System, to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. I hope you will join us, and have much enjoyment along the way! Be sure to hit me up on Xbox Live! My username is DarkDemon352

These are really cool man, thanks for doing these.

Hopefully Cruz is serious about the loot box thing and isn’t just paying it lip-service to seem hip.

Always glad to hear that emulation is progressing and becoming better and better.

While I understand where the Final Fantasy 16 producer is coming from, making a new entry in a long running series purely for newbies can be a one way ticket to alienating your pre-existing fans and ruining your series.

    1. Regarding Final Fantasy it seems like that’s becoming a big focus for Square Enix. 15’s intro starts off with “A Final Fantasy game for beginners and newbies alike” and while I loved FF15 I just hate the obsession with graphs and charts these companies have had for the past decade.
