8 useful Chrome settings you should change!

This video was very helpful to me. I’ve been using an extension to enable dark mode across the web on Chrome and it really hasn’t worked very well, and now I can do it straight through Chrome itself. I also enabled the reader mode flag as well. That should come in handy during Game Juice broadcasts.

Malware infected apps hit over 3 million Android devices — delete these now | Tom’s Guide

Scary stuff, according to this article malware has been found in the following apps:

  • Vlog Star Video Editor
  • Creative 3D Launcher
  • Funny Camera
  • Wow Beauty Camera
  • Gif Emoji Keyboard
  • Razer Keyboard & Theme
  • Freeglow Camera 1.0.0
  • Coco camera v1.1

Now you may be thinking “well who uses those apps anyways!” apparently million of people. 2 of these apps have over a million downloads, then the others have between thousands and several hundred thousand. This isn’t a small case of malware spreading. The Google play store also has a feature that’s supposed to scan all of your apps for malware, though I guess one shouldn’t expect something like that to really be that accurate.

PSA: Hackers allegedly targeting BlazBlue players with malware

Guardians of the Galaxy’s Loss is Mass Effect’s Gain

I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about the Guardians of the Galaxy game and was even hoping to try it at some point, hopefully this ends well for the game.

Was Classic Game Room the Best Retro Gaming Show?

While I actually don’t agree that Classic Game Room is THE BEST EVER it really was an important show for its time. Classic Game Room was one of the first YouTube shows I ever watched consistently back in the day and it introduced me to A TON of games and media that I otherwise would’ve had no idea even existed. My favorite point that’s presented in this video is that Classic Game Room wasn’t this crazy IN-DEPTH review show like most modern gaming web shows are. Mark Bussler would just give a nice overview and his impressions on games. I DON’T KNOW WHY EVERY MODERN REVIEW SHOW THINKS THEY HAVE TO GO OVER EVERY LITTLE DETAIL OF A GAME TO EXPRESS IF IT’S WORTH PLAYING OR NOT. This is something Classic Game Room did VERY RIGHT! I highly recommend this video, and I highly recommend checking out some old school Classic Game Room episodes.
